Morales hold a Sarjana Hukum (LLB) degree from University of Al Azhar Indonesia in 2013. He is a qualified Indonesian advocate, specializes in dispute resolution practices, including litigation and arbitration. He has extensive experience in handling high-profile corruption cases as well as other contentious matters, i.e. part of the team that provided legal assistance in a Presidential general election dispute before the Indonesian Constitutional Court in 2014.
Morales is fluent in Mandarin, the language he first learned from his educational period in International Beijing World Youth Academy, China. He has a good understanding of transnational cultural nuances when dealing with clients and counterparts from diverse backgrounds.
In 2015 – 2018, Morales also devoted his time to teaching and sharing his experiences at the University of Al Azhar Indonesia for civil procedural law courses and banking law courses.

Practice Description
The following are Morales’ several experiences:
- Advised and assisted PT Chevron Pacific Indonesia on anti-corruption and compliance;
- Represented several Sinar Mas Group’s officials in a Corruption allegation case;
- Part of the team of advocates represented Prabowo Subianto and Hatta Rajasa, president and vice-president candidates in a claim against Komisi Pemilihan Umum (Indonesian General Election Commission) in relation to its decision on the results of the 2014 Indonesian presidential election;
- Represented one of Germany Government Organizations in Indonesia to terminate several employees of the company;
- Represented one of the biggest multi-national construction companies in a dispute case against an Indonesian company before Badan Arbitrase Nasional Indonesia;
- Assisted numerous foreign investors in established companies in various industries in Indonesia;
- Advised and assisted the Government of Indonesia, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in judicial review cases of Law Number 3 of 2020 concerning Mineral and Coal Mining (“Mining Law”) before the Constitutional Court of Justice which registered in Case Number 59/PUU-XVIII/ 2020, Case Number 60/PUU-XVIII/2020, and Case Number 64/ PUU-XVIII/ 2020;
- Represented one of the biggest coal mining companies in Indonesia, in a pretrial case regarding the termination of the investigation carried out by the Jakarta Regional Police before South Jakarta District Court.
- Represented one of the largest mining companies in Indonesia in a commercial dispute case before Samarinda District Court.
