Practice Description

Selected milestone of project including:

  • Assisting AKR Coal to take over PT Jabal Nor, a company developing coal logistics facilities (roads and ports) in Tapin, South Kalimantan;
  • Assisting AKR Coal in general corporate matters and other legal aspects of the company related to coal business operations in Indonesia and China;
  • Handling one of the leading and largest Oil and Gas issuers in Indonesia (Retainer Client);
  • Represent clients in various commercial disputes such as Bank Guarantee dipsutes with a value Rp 30.000.000.000 (thirty billion rupiah), Bankruptcy cases with a disputed value of USD 1.000.000 (One million united staes dollar) and various other commercial disputes;
  • Prepare Mine Development Agreements, Security Agreements, Sales and Purchase Agreement Terms, Consultation Agreements, Circular Resolutions, Claim Letters, Counter Plea and Rejoinder, Summons, Power of Attorney, Engagement Letters in both English and Indonesian;
  • Provide Legal Opinions and Legal Advice in connection with the trial in Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Haul Road and Build Operation Transfer Arrangements, Mine area tender;
  • Members of the legal team of the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia in the dispute over the 2014 Legislative General Elections (Pileg) at the Constitutional Court;
  • Members of the legal team of the General Election Commission of the Republic of Indonesia in the dispute over the 2019 Indonesian Presidential Election (Pilpres) at the Constitutional Court;
